Our friends at SailGP partner with Round The Island Race supporting youth sailing
We are excited to announce that our friends at SailGP will be teaming up with us for the Round the Island Race 2026.
SailGP will be awarding a Family Ticket package to the winning boat in the Island Sailing Club class, while the winner of the ISCR Young Skipper Award will enjoy an exclusive SailGP Technologies Tech Base Tour, offering a behind-the-scenes look at the innovation and technology that powers the league. SailGP will also have a presence in the Race Village, with interactive activities, so be sure to stop by and say hello to find out more about SailGP and the upcoming event in Portsmouth.
There’s less than one month to go until the Emirates Great Britain Sail Grand Prix | Portsmouth on 25–26 July, where thirteen national teams will battle it out aboard identical F50 catamarans, reaching speeds of over 100 km/h as they race just metres from the shoreline. The event offers stadium-style viewing, unrivalled access to the action, and an unforgettable atmosphere on Southsea Common. The race weekend closes with headline music each night from Jess Glynne on Saturday and Craig David on Sunday.
